Efficient and cost-effective
Grain harvesting – and especially combining – are complex processes that present new challenges for many operators every year, particularly due to constantly changing conditions.
Optimize combine performance
“Am I using the machine’s full performance potential? What about the losses? Are my automation systems operating according to the specifications?” – These are all questions that experienced combine operators ask themselves regularly.
By practitioners, for professionals
For over 30 years, I have been deeply involved in combine harvesting technology and use my experience to provide hands-on support – both in practical operations and in optimizing the machines.
My goal is to enable every combine operator to independently perform a loss measurement and calibrate the loss sensors – easily and quickly, because time is money. This is essential because they serve as a kind of rearview mirror for the operator, helping to unlock the machine’s full performance potential.
Being able, as the operator, to independently decide when and where to drop the loss tray – regardless of crop type or stubble height – to quickly relocate it using a built-in tracker and the associated app (especially in windrow conditions), to efficiently separate grain from straw, chaff, and dust using a compact handheld blower with vibration function, to obtain fast measurement results, and to have the system immediately ready for a possible second measurement – these were my core requirements in developing the Pio’s grain system.
